Sparkling Wines
Casa Caterina 'Cuvée 60 Nature' Lombardy, Italy 2011 - $65
Chardonnay
Aged on the lees for five years (60 months, hence the name). Not only does this blow other Franciacortas out of the water, this is among the best sparkling wines that we’ve ever come across. Deeply golden and savory, rich and robust, yet nimble. Tiny production and extra special. - natural/white
Meinklang 'Frizzante' Burgenland, Austria (NV) - $19

Pinot Noir

This wine could not possibly be more smile inducing. Fresh berry juiciness with a hint of savoriness, acidic zip and a frizz ante-fizziness that is irresistible. Think of it as an adult soda in the best way possible. - biodynamic/rosé

Pietramore ‘Vanita’ PétNat, Abruzzo, Italy - $19

Trebbiano

A fun, little side project by the fantastic winemakers at Pietramore in central Italy. 30 year old vines, grown in sandy/clay soils, provide fruit that is lean & fresh with a great, fine mineral side. Super fresh & refreshing, with tiny, jovial bubbles that never quit.   - biodynamic/white

Les Vins Pirouettes (C. Binner) 'Le Bubbles de Julien', Alsace, France 2015 - $28
Riesling

Thanks again, Monsieur Binner, for helping expand the reach of fantastic, natural wines. 'Pirouettes' is a project where he takes winemakers under his wing. This wine uses unfermented juice from the next vintage for secondary fermentation. Cloudy, funky, petrol, mineral, pithy, sassy & delicious as the day is long. - natural/white

Onabay Vineyards  'Blanc de Franc' North Fork of Long Island, New York 2013 - $25

Cabernet Franc

There are a couple of producers on the island of Long making really terrific sparkling wines, and Onabay is one of them (they make some lovely still wines as well). This wine has a lovely, round texture - from it's extended lees contact. Bright, fresh fruit, creamy texture * a dry mineral finish.  sustainable/white

Michel Nartz ‘Cui Cui’ Dambach-la-Ville, Alsace, France - $20

Pinot Blanc, Auxerrois, Riesling, & Pinot Gris

'Cui Cui' is essentially the French expression of a bird's tweet tweet. This cremant is winemaker Laurent Nartz's bubbly expression of the beauty of his vineyards. Bright & fresh with extremely clean, precise mineral and a persistent sparkle. The label really captures the spirit of this wine. - sustainable/white

Domaine des 2 Anes 'Limo d'Anes' Languedoc-Roussillon, France - $23

Carignan

In addition to just being silly delicious, this wine is a really pleasant surprise. We've long been fans of Dom des 2 Anes' wines - great, classically structured natural wines... it's nice to see them let their hair down here. Fresh like cherry-lemonade. Serve well chilled - the bubbles have a lot of life! - natural/rosé

Champagne Rodez ’Blanc de Noirs' Ambonnay, Champagne, France (NV) - $68

Pinot Noir

We don’t like to throw around the word “transcendent” but if there was ever a time to use it, this would be the wine. Eric Rodez was head blendmaster at Krug & studied natural winemaking with Marcel Deiss. This is a beautifully delicate floral wine, with freshness, energy & elegance.. - biodynamic/white

Laurent et Marina Cazottes ‘Bulleversant Brut’, SouthWest, France 2017 - $27
Mauzac
The Bulleversant is back!! From Laurent Cazottes who is best known for his amazing, artisanal distillates, And a handful of delicious wines (of which we have 3 now, come ask us about the white and the reds ;)). The nose bursts with honeysuckle and wildflowers. On the palate you get a beautiful brioche cutting in immediately before the apple comes through and takes you on a wild ride. There's also a wonderful acid and zip that really keep your mouth dancing. -  natural/white
Cinque Campi 'Lambrusco dell'Emilia Rosso', Emilia-Romagna, Italy 2017
Laumbrusco Grasparossa, Malbo Gentile & Marzemin
Simultaneously fruity and softly tannic... certainly dry and absolutely delightful. Velvety dark fruit and soft earth with a delicate green edge foreshadow a dry, savory finish with mouth watering tannins. This vineyard has been in the same family for over 200 years. -natural/red
