Atanasius is basically the star high-school quarterback of the Gut Oggau lineup; handsome, but not superficial, and with hidden talents. He dreams of one day becoming a “world star”; I’m not sure what that means, but this wine definitely takes center stage when it’s popped. Deep red fruit, earth, good acid, and lots of complexity.
