Despite coming from Languedoc, this Syrah shows classic Rhône notes of earth, red fruit, and garrigue. The wine only improves with time open; give it a decant if you can. Maceration is partially whole cluster, but some de-stemming maintains freshness and keeps the tannins in balance.
