Capitan Fanegas "La Union Rioja" 2019

Winemaker Mario Ruiz-Clavijo is stepping outside of DO regulations to make a unique style of Rioja. Beautifully aromatic, thanks to the Graciano, the nose features bright cherries and minerality, followed by a depth of earthiness and excellent acid that carries the finish. Fresher and livelier than a typical Crianza, the DO style which the wine reflects.
